In one instance, the AI responded positively to a search mentioning cannabis in a celebratory context from an account posing as an 11-year-old. Even more alarmingly, the AI attempted to tackle all 180 homework assignments presented, sometimes offering incorrect information with the same confidence as accurate answers.

In response to the troubling report, Google issued a statement asserting that many of the highlighted responses could not be substantiated.
