“I was captivated by retention graphs and always questioned why viewers stayed or left,” Neo reflected. This curiosity led to his evolving role, transitioning from analytics to overseeing content editing and concept generation.

One of his most notable achievements was a video featuring a street challenge asking people if they’d fly to Paris for a baguette, which racked up an astounding 1.8 billion views. Following this success, MrBeast adopted a similar format for multiple videos.

In 2023, Neo stepped away from MrBeast to explore new avenues, launching channels under the Creaky branding that soared to over a billion views each month. Encouraged by a mentor, Neo began collaborating with his fellow co-founders to transform these insights into a practical tool for creators.

“Our inference engine aggregates primary data points, utilizing a combination of top-level machine learning models to build a persona for each creator, aligning with their unique tastes and style,” Kumar explained.

At its core, Palo’s AI planner features a conversational interface. It allows creators to ask broad questions about their content, draft scripts based on established formulas, or even develop storyboards tailored to visual narratives.

Currently, Palo is testing its platform with a select group of creators, and it plans to extend its services to those with 100,000 followers, starting at $250 a month with tiered pricing for more extensive use.

Funding and Support

Palo has successfully raised $3.8 million in funding from Peak XV’s Surge, with additional contributions from NFX and private investors. Rajan Anandan, Peak XV’s managing director, emphasized the team’s strong creative and technical background, which fueled the firm’s desire to invest.
